This seminar will be led by Shihan Dean Rostohar – Shinryu, 15th Dan Kugyo Happo Hiken, Shibu Cho Bujinkan Croatia, the student of Hatsumi Soke. Among many the things to be taught and demonstrated at this seminar, there are the techniques that Shihans from BSD Croatia have learned and practiced in Japan.

Shihan Rostohar will teach the skills from various Bujinkan Ninjutsu schools. Special attention will be given to the traditional Ninja Warrior techniques and tactics in combat.

To enable the students to understand the reality of Ninja Warrior fighting tactics and techniques, all the techniques at the seminar will be performed in Shinken Gata manner. They will be done like combat techniques – through the ‘real fight’, without preparations, under the mental and physical pressure and according to the dynamics of fight.

Shihan Dean Rostohar will transmit the knowledge and skills through all the levels directly - via ISSHI SHODEN: Kuden (oral knowledge transmission), Taiden (bodily/physical knowledge transmission), Shinden (from heart to heart), Kudensho (Densho Kuden – psychological, mental, spiritual).

The purpose of this Camp Seminar is giving the Bujinkan students the opportunity to learn how to use Ninjutsu skills and Ninja weapons in natural surroundings.

For all those who cannot regularly train in Bujinkan Seishin Dojo Zagreb, this is the opportunity for learning from Shihan Dean Rostohar, for widening their experience, improving knowledge and skills.

INFORMATIONS

The Seishin Japan Kanjo Camp Seminar will be held from May 30th-31st 2009, (lasting 2 days and 1 night, Saturday & Sunday). It will be held at private campsite terrain near Zagreb (Mićevec).

All the participants must arrange their own transport to the Seminar Campsite and back to Zagreb. The participants must also arrange their own accommodation at the Campsite. The departure to the Campsite is organized: all the participants will meet at Saturday, May 30th, 2009, at the parking place in front of Motel "ZAGREB", Bundek b.b. (In Središće, across the Zagreb City Fair / 'Zagrebački Velesajam').

The departure for the Seminar Campsite is at 09:00 am, May 30th, 2009. The seminar organizers are not to be held responsible for the transportation or for the accommodation of the participants!

The seminar will be held regardless of weather conditions! Please do not apply if not sure that you are physically and mentally capable of enduring the hard training in the field camp seminar!!!

The fee for the participation in the seminar is 40 €.

The participants should confirm their registration for the Seishin Japan Kanjo Camp Seminar by payment of a registration fee of 40 €, as soon as possible. All the participants in the seminar must confirm their registration by May 25th, 2009. The seminar Application Form should be sent to the organizers as soon as possible, together with the fee invoice. Registering for the seminar and paying the fee is also possible at the regular trainings in Bujinkan Seishin Dojo Zagreb. All the participants who are unable to register at trainings must apply via e-mail!

THE GEAR REQUIRED:

For all the participants the following gear is required: Shinobi Shozoku (a black kimono, the tabi, the belt, the black shirt with a hood – or any similar clothing, necessarily all black!), Tanto (a wooden knife), Daisho Katana (long and short wooden sword – with scabbards, if possible), Nawa (the rope, at least 4 m long, 3 – 5 mm width), Hanbo (the short wooden stick about 100mm long), Bo or Yari or Naginata – long stick, spear or halberd, Shukko – claws.

The camping gear is required! Please bring the following: a tent, a sleeping bag, a hood or black scarf, spare clothing (preferably a sweatshirt & sweatpants), all the gear you need for 2 days of camping in the nature. Bringing your own food and drinking water is obligatory! Please bring the warm clothes, because the nights can be cold.
