We are happy to welcome you to the Paris Taikai 2009. This year's theme will be dedicated to the study of Sainô - Tamashii - Utsuwa. Join the Shi Tenno: Peter King, Pedro Fleitas, Sveneric Bogsater and Arnaud Cousergue in this now traditional Bujinkan rendez-vous. These 4 Jugodan have been training in Japan this year and will share with you the feeling and techniques they trained in Japan. Each one will give his own understanding of this year's "no theme" approach. This is an event you shouldn't miss!
Thursday 9th: 5pm-9pm: registration at the Dôjô Friday 10th: 9am-10am: registration 10:00am-5:00pm: training Saturday 11th: 9am-10am: registration 10:00am-5:00pm: training Sunday 12th: 9am-10am: registration 10:00am-5:00pm: training 5:30pm-7:30pm: Final party Lunch breaks and pauses:A 1h30 lunch break is included every day. After each hour of training a 5 minute break will allow the participants and the teachers to change hall and group. Organization:The group will be divided by levels: beginners advanced, black belt, Shidôshi. This system facilitate the teaching and gives better results. Each one will receive an adapted teaching according to his technical level. This system has proved its efficiency over the past years. Training Halls:We will use the 3 Dôjô as usual. In the Main Dôjô, 2 groups will be training and 2 Shihan will be teaching together. The 2 small Dôjô will be dedicated to other teachings. The Wooden Dôjô will be dedicated to weapon training and the Small Dôjô to the techniques of weapon. Equipment to bring:We will use extensively the following weapons: padded Shuko, padded bokken/Ninjatô with saya, Nawa. Please note that no wooden or metallic weapons will be allowed in the training halls. Prebooking:To participate to this fantastic event, you have to book yourself online as soon as possible. The rule we apply is: first booked first served, Dan grades do not count. Prices: Each day includes: 5h training, 1 lunch and 1 t-shirt per day. A certificate of attendance is delivered at the end. A "goodbye drink" is offered to all participants on Sunday evening after training. Prebooking is 65 EUR: Package 1: Prebooking before May 30th Full seminar: 195 EUR (65 EUR + 130 EUR) Prebooking deposit is non refundable. You can book yourself in until July 8th. After this date, you will have to pay the full price. No exceptions. Full payment is to be paid upon arrival in cash. Sorry we cannot accept credit cards at the Dôjô. Package 2: Prebooking after May 30th and before June 20th: Full seminar: 210 EUR Package 3: Prebooking after June 20th or upon arrival): Full seminar: 220 EUR Special prices: Each teacher coming with a minimum of 6 students, pays for the prebooking (65 EUR), the rest is free. The 7th Paris Taikai will welcome you once again at the Cercle Tissier in Vincennes (Paris). 108 rue de Fontenay in Vincennes. Access: by metro Chateau de Vincennes or RER Vincennes (15 min. from the centre of Paris. By car: Peripherique exit at "Porte de Vincennes" turn left in front of the castle then right to the "rue de fontenay", the dôjô is located in front of the market place near the church and the "mairie de Vincennes" (city hall). IMPORTANT Please fill in all the questions concerning your participation: T-shirts Size, Type of meal, 1st day of training and last day of training. Xtra Classes on Monday If you leave France on Monday afternoon late, you are welcome to participate to a FREE 2h30 class at the Dôjô. This extra free training begins at 1:30pm and finishes at 4pm.
