In 1983 Oliver and Guido first got into contact with Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. At that time Shidoshi Wolfgang Ettig was significantly involved in spreading the newly discovered Ninjutsu within Germany. Back then the resources were limited but this was made up by the the engagement and dedication of every single person. Wolfgang Ettig was one of Olivers and Guidos first teachers. In 1984 both Oliver and Guido started to train in a small attic with only 5 Students. Due to their consistent training Oliver and Guido were soon able to rent a Gymnasium in Hamm. The club continued to grow and in March 2000 they fulfilled their dream and opened their first own dojo, which since then has grown and expanded.
If you are interested in practising this ancient martial art with two of Germany’s leading experts, come along and participate in a free training session and discover for yourself the fascinating art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. The dojo is were we teach authentic Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu (in Japanese, dojo means “place where the way is taught”). The Bujinkan system consists of 900 years of knowledge based on 6 samurai schools and 3 Ninja schools (Japanese: school=ryu). The schools were united by the current grandmaster Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. Alongside and based upon the traditional teachings are of course adaptions for modern times. The construction of the dojo is the realisation of a large dream for Oliver and Guido, allowing training in a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. Aside from training facilities, there is a a bar and lounge area, as well as changing rooms and showers. By looking at the pictures you can get an impression of the place. But of course the best way of getting an impression is by visiting us there! Bujinkan Dojo Ninpo-Hamm http://www.ninpo-hamm.de/en/index.php
